The Office of Academic Affairs and Administration works with campus leadership to develop and coordinate all aspects of academic work, to expand opportunities for teaching and research, and to extend the intellectual resources of the university into the Portland community.
Academic Extension serves as a central point of information regarding academic outreach for domestic and international entrepreneurial activities. It reaches nontraditional and place-bound students, alumni, and retirees, and those seeking professional development transition.
Portland Career Services offer career coaching, workshops, and networking opportunities focused on the Portland job market. Programs help students and recent grads create a job search plan and connect with other alumni, and it provide access to an online job database.
The development office builds relationships with donors and friends, working to match the interests of our donors with the strengths and funding opportunities of the UO. Private gifts of all sizes play a crucial role in maintaining excellence in teaching, research, and student support.
Employer and Recruiter Resources
Career Services at the Lundquist College of Business helps students navigate the career exploration and job search process, develop career search skills, and build a portfolio of work experiences. Career Services also works with employers in recruiting students for internships or employment.
Library and Learning Commons
The Library and Learning Commons brings the resources of the Eugene campus and more to the Portland community. With more than 11,000 books on its shelves, the library gives community members, students, and faculty entrée into one of the richest architecture, design, and product design libraries in Portland.
