We Respectfully Acknowledge

The University of Oregon’s Portland campus was once heavily populated by Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and numerous indigenous peoples who made their homes along the Columbia River basin for millennia....

Study Spaces

From couches next to the fireplace in the Campus Center to tables in the Library & Learning Center overlooking the campus green, there are plenty of places on campus to catch up with reading, meet with others or work on your laptop. Students have access to reservable small group study rooms. And on a nice day, you'll find others at outdoor tables.

Green Spaces

Our green spaces do more than provide fresh air. Herbs and fruits are integrated into the landscape, along with an arboretum of trees. It’s a unique way to connect with food, wellness, and sustainability. Stroll through campus to see what’s in season. And keep an eye out for our very own 'Thinker Duck" statue.

Maker Spaces

Our students get hands-on with tools and tech that bring ideas to life. Several academic programs have specialized and dedicated maker spaces to design, prototype, and explore solutions to real-world problems.
