How to Pay Your Rent
University Housing bills rent for university apartments to student accounts around the 12th of the month before it is due.
Payments are due on the first day of the following month, and late charges are assessed on past-due balances after the tenth of the month. Charges appear on the same monthly statement, including tuition, student fees, and other university charges and payments.
The university uses an electronic billing and payment system called QuikPAY®. Electronic statements are generated after the 15th of each month. Statements are sent to the student’s university-issued email account. Students can make payments electronically by using QuikPAY® through their DuckWeb account. Payments can also be made in person at the cashier’s office at the Thompson’s University Center or through the mail. Always designate the month and amount of the rent payment.
Billing Support
If you have questions about the University Housing sections of your bill, please call 503-412-3703 or email pdxhousing@uoregon.edu. Please know that University Housing will never ask for sensitive information, like a credit card number, via email. Due to federal regulations, we are limited in what information we can release to anyone except the student, including authorized payers. We can directly discuss billing issues only with students.
If you have more general questions about your bill, please get in touch with Student Billing, UO Accounts Receivable, at 541-346-3170.
Cost of Attendance
Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
