We provide a one-stop shop for scheduling academic and public events at the University of Oregon Portland campus. Our team offers a variety of spaces, services, and equipment to meet the needs of gatherings of all sizes—from classrooms and conference rooms to event venues.

Library & Learning Center

(PLLC)

Home to classrooms, study spaces and conference rooms. The bright Alumni Atrium features seating outside the Confluence Community Room and looks out over the campus green. KISS Cafe serves coffee, pastries and sandwiches.

Innovation Building

(PINV)

Renovated to create state-of-the art maker spaces and highlight original building features, the Innovation Building is home to a variety of UO Portland academic program office spaces, distinctive event spaces, as well as class and conference rooms.

Portland Campus Center

(PCC)

As the heart of campus, this is where students, faculty and staff connect. A large event space upstairs overlooks the bell tower and campus green. Nearby conference rooms offer flexibility for conferences and other events.

Who can schedule space on the UO Portland Campus? 
Spaces can be reserved by UO groups and external clients. 
 
How do I start the scheduling process?

How do I schedule classes?
CRN classes are scheduled through the registrar’s office. All UO Portland programs will need to schedule their courses through CLSS. If you have questions about the CLSS scheduling process, please email Academic and Classroom Scheduling at sched@uoregon.edu.
If you have questions about UO Portland classrooms and availability, email pdxinfo@uoregon.edu.  

 

What do I need to know to plan my event?
All events at UO Portland must comply with university, municipal, and other relevant policies. This include sound, chalk, printed materials and demonstrations.

Fees

 

 

 
How are rental fees calculated? 
Fees are determined by client type (external, nonprofit, UO Portland-based, UO-Eugene-based, and state and municipal agencies), as well as space. 
 
What is included in the fee?
Room rental rates include room setup coordination with an event manager, AV technician support for event setup, and basic AV.
Additional fees may apply for advanced AV and/or facility needs, weekend or night events and additional security.

Catering

 

 

 
Can I bring food to my event?
Food at events must be provided by an approved caterer. This requirement protects the community by guaranteeing that food served is prepared in a commercially licensed kitchen by certified and licensed staff members.
 
Can I serve alcohol?
Alcohol may be served at only approved and permitted events on campus. 
Any request for alcohol to be brought onto the campus must be submitted to the UO alcohol permission form
 
Do you offer coffee and light refreshments on campus?
 
UO departments are encouraged to use KISS Coffee to provide coffee and tea service for departmental meetings. The KISS on Campus coffee shop s located on the first floor of the Library & Learning Center.

What type of technology is available? 
Most spaces include a plasma display or projector with screen, wifi access, microphone and basic video conferencing. 
More extensive technology may be possible with additional fees. 

 

 
I teach a class. Can I get technology training? 
For training on classroom technology, please submit a request to the service portal and an IS staff member will contact you to schedule training.

Can I reserve the athletic fields or gym?
We are working through the City of Portland's permit process to allow rentals of the fields and gym. We hope to have more information to share in spring 2026.
 
How do I find out about events on campus? 
Use the UO calendar to see Portland-based events and to  add your event. The calendar feeds into numerous websites and emails used by UO programs and helps with promotion. 
 
How do I find buildings on campus?
Use the campus map to locate buildings, parking and other places on campus.
