Academic student Organizations

Journalism and Communication Graduation Student Association (JCGSA)

JCGSA is an informal organization for the graduate students of the SOJC, including both Eugene and Portland students. There are no dues or membership fees. The organization helps keep members apprised of school information by reporting on faculty searches and graduate program decisions, and communicating graduate student concerns to SOJC leadership at faculty meetings. If you are interested in joining the SOJC Portland Chapter of JCGSA, reach out to your program's director.

Association of School Psychology Students (ASPS)

ASPS is a student-led organization for School Psychology students in both Eugene and Portland. If you are interested in joining ASPS, you can email the School Psychology program at spsy@uoregon.edu.

 

Design Student Union (DSU) of the PDX College of Design

DSU is a student group focused on connecting students in architecture, art and technology, product design, sports product design, and historic preservation on the UO Portland campus. UO Portland Student Council

The UO Portland Student Council is a student advisory group representing all Portland academic programs and dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive community on the Portland campuses. This group meets monthly and includes student representatives from all academic programs on campus. If you are interested in joining the UO Portland Student Council, fill out this form. Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups connect students with shared identities across programs. Affinity Groups meets monthly to foster community building, coordinate events, and promote personal and professional development opportunities. Each group is led by a Student and Staff Lead.
